Chestnut Street one-way conversion

Pushed back on calling Chestnut 'narrow' — the street's width hasn't changed, vehicles have gotten bigger — but strongly thanked council for the safety fix, citing a crash during downtown cleanup day.

Said he's lost two cars to crashes parked in front of his Chestnut Street house and has picked up crash debris constantly — 'slowing things down there will go a great deal.'

Echoed the safety concerns, saying she's picked her grandkids up from parents who were T-boned at that intersection — 'a traumatic experience.'
